Abbots Farm get two new Dog Professionals and our new Platinum Award!

🐾 A Very Special Day at Abbots Farm Junior School! 🧡

I was back at Abbots Farm Junior School in Rugby today for my third visit and what a fantastic day it was!

I was there to welcome Shannon and Lauren as new Dog Professionals working alongside the wonderful Chase the Dog Mentor. It was also great to catch up with the whole school team, including their Headteacher and Chase’s owner Gemma.

Having visited the school before, it was fantastic to see just how much the programme has developed and the impact Chase and the team are having across the school. Their commitment to embedding the principles of The Dog Mentor throughout their school community was wonderful to see.

The day was made even more special as it was my absolute pleasure to award Abbots Farm Junior School the second Dog Mentor Platinum Regulated School award in the UK! 🧡

This is our brand-new award which recognises schools taking the programme to another level and embedding its principles across their whole-school environment. We’ll be sharing lots more information soon about the Platinum Award and how schools across our Dog Mentor family can work towards achieving this new level.
