Back at Treorchy Comprehensive School!

First school of my Welsh Adventure week was a visit to Treorchy Comprehensive School to welcome their newest Dog Mentor!


This is Maple and her owner Alex. Alex joined the programme with her other dogs, Lottie and Boo in 2022 and now she has a third 🧡.


It was also lovely to catchup with Jenny, Treorchy's Headteacher who has overseen eleven Dog Mentors in her time there 🥳.


Thanks to all at Treorchy for making me feel so welcome again and we're looking forward to seeing more of you - I'm back again in March 🤩.

Este artículo transmite una historia muy bonita sobre el vínculo entre los perros, sus dueños y la educación. Es maravilloso ver cómo Maple se une al programa y continúa una labor tan especial. También me parece interesante cómo estas experiencias ayudan a los estudiantes a desarrollar confianza y valores. Incluso temas como el significado de los números pueden despertar curiosidad, pero aquí destaca especialmente el impacto positivo de estos mentores caninos.
