Back to train some new handlers for Winnie and Florrie!

🐾 A Wonderful Return to Burley and Woodhead Primary! 🧡

I went back to Burley and Woodhead Primary School in Burley in Wharfedale today. They joined the programme in October 2024, and it was fantastic to return and train some new handlers for their wonderful Dog Mentors, Winnie and Florrie. Today’s handlers were Fiona and Gen, who both did brilliantly.

It was also so lovely to catch up with the headteacher, Nina, and to see just how much the school has embraced and embedded the Dog Mentor principles into everything they do. Their commitment, warmth and enthusiasm make this a truly amazing school to work with. 🧡
