Jenny Sleath's course from today!
š¾ Jennyās Back on Home Turf with Wilf! š§”
Today Jenny Sleath was back on home turf at Abermorddu Primary School in Flintshire, welcoming another wonderful new Dog Mentor team to our family.
Jenny was warmly welcomed by Sian Furber, teacher and owner of the gorgeous Wilf, her five-month-old Cavapoo. Wilf was certainly a bundle of energy and enthusiasm but when it came to his training sessions he focused incredibly hard and showed everyone just what he can do!
Clare Barford, who takes a lead role in wellbeing at the school, also worked alongside Jenny and it was fantastic to see Headteacher Bryan Griffiths getting involved in Wilfās training too.
The Year 5 and 6 pupils also played a really important part in the day, demonstrating how Dog Mentor ready they are and helping to create the right environment for Wilf as he begins his journey.
Another fantastic day for Jenny and I have absolutely no doubt that Abermorddu Primary School is going to be another very successful Dog Mentor school. We canāt wait to see Wilf grow into his new role! š§”š§”š§”
