Jenny Sleath welcomes the first of two new Dog Mentors at one of our oldest schools!

🐾 Honey Joins the Team at Chetwynd Junior School! 🧡

Jenny Sleath was also out running a course today, this time at Chetwynd Junior School in Nuneaton for the first of two days welcoming new Dog Mentor teams into the school.

The school first joined the programme in 2021, so it was wonderful for us to be back and see how the programme continues to grow. Today Jenny worked with Assistant Headteacher Michelle Wallis and her lovely Cavapoo, Honey.

Jenny said that Honey may be small — and incredibly cute — but she has a big personality and is already making a huge impression on staff and pupils alike. Honey is joining Ted, the school's current Dog Mentor, and it sounds like the two of them were delighted to be working together in such a fantastic school.

It's always special to return to schools that have been part of the programme for several years and see their Dog Mentor family continue to grow. 🧡
