Two new Dog Mentors to finish the week!

🐾 Poppy & Teddy Join the Dog Mentor Family at Worden Academy 🐾

After a fantastic visit to Leyland St James yesterday, I was back in Leyland today — this time at Worden Academy — to welcome two new Dog Mentors into our ever-growing family.

It was lovely to meet Mark with Poppy and Laura with Teddy, supported by their handler Richard. Both dogs settled beautifully and it was clear from the start that they’re going to be a brilliant part of school life.

What really stood out was seeing entire classes self-regulate during our time together — a skill that will benefit them both in and out of school. Such a powerful reminder of the impact this programme can have. 🧡
